Watch: Skipper of Pakistan Cricket Team Shaheen Afridi blasts a no-look six at nets
The Pakistan cricket team is gearing up to face New Zealand in a five-match Test series as they kickstart their T20 World Cup 2024 preparations. The Men in Green will take on the Kiwis, led by the new skipper, Shaheen Shah Afridi. Ahead of the 1st PAK vs. NZ T20I, the skipper was seen batting at the nets and happened to play some cracking shots.

Afridi smoked a no-look six off a left-armed spinner as he sweated it out in the nets. The first T20I will take place in Auckland on January 12. Pakistan will be looking to put back their miserable World Cup 2023 run and the 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Australia as they head into the series.
In a significant and yet minor development, wicketkeeper Pakistan Mohammad Rizwan has been named the vice captain of the team.
