On Saturday in Sylhet, the second and final Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh started. Sri Lanka captain Dhananjaya de Silva won the toss and elected to bat first in their second and final Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong on Saturday. Sri Lanka leads the two-match series 1-0 after thumping the hosts by 328 runs in Sylhet. The visitors brought Asitha Fernando for the injured Kasun Rajitha, their only change from the series opener.
The match was also witness to a bizarre incident as Bangladesh went for a DRS against Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis, though he had come forward to defend the ball against Taijul Islam. Bangladesh Capt. Najmul Hossain Shanto took the DRS, even though he looked reluctant.

Social media could not control laughter, as the TV umpire deemed it not out. One of the users wrote, “Pathetic review. Not sure what keeper and short leg didn’t have any opinion.” Another user wrote, “Bangladesh cricket is either drunk or drugged at any point in time.”
