Ollie Pope, who scored 196 in the first Test, got a start on Saturday, making 23 in 54 balls before a brilliant yorker by Bumrah ended his innings. Bumrah, who had dismissed Joe Root in his previous over, conceded two runs in his first four balls of the 28th over of the inning before producing a brilliant delivery that left Pope without any answers.
Bumrah got the ball to reverse-swing right into the middle and leg stump, the yorker going through even before Pope’s bat came down. It left the Pope stunned as the Vizag crowd erupted.
