In order to keep the hopes of making it to the semi-final alive in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 West Indies defeated the United States of America by 9 wickets. After losing to England in their first match of the Super 8 stage, the co-hosts needed a victory against the Aaron Jones-led team and the players delivered when it mattered the most.
While chasing the target of 129 runs, the West Indies cricket team completed the task in 10.5 overs. Shai Hope scored a well-compiled fifty-plus score to take his team to a win.
