R. Ashwin has expressed his love for the Indian cricket team and is looking forward to bringing something new to the team. As we all know, R. Ashwin got included in the team after Axar Patel got injured in the recently concluded Asia Cup. The experienced spinner of team India Laong with Washington Sundar was added to the squad in order to provide the team with more options and variety before the World Cup.
Ashwin is going to be featured in the ODI clash between India and Australia on Friday. He is looking forward to giving something new to the team and has been working on it. Ashwin said to BCCI, “It’s a great opportunity for me. I want to bring something different to the table—something different from my perspective. I have been working on some different angles because one day cricket isn’t about spin anymore; it’s not about the angle of spin or anything.”
