Women’s T20 World Cup Warmup match schedule released by ICC
Finally the ICC has announced the warm-up match schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The India women’s Cricket Team will take on West Indies and South Africa in their preparation for the tournament. As per the ICC, all the warm-up matches will begin on 28th September and conclude on 1st October.
A total of 10 teams will take part in the tournament. And all the teams will play their warmup matches before the mega tournament starts. Each side will play 2 matches against their opponent in the United Arab Emirates who will be hosting the tournament after the venue got shifted from Bangladesh.
Every team will be able to field their 15 members and thus these matches won’t be treated as International T20 matches. Furthermore, no two sides from the same group will play against each other in these warmup matches.
