Yashasvi Jaiswal Seeks NOC to Switch from Mumbai to Goa for Domestic Cricket

Indian cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal has reportedly written an email to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to switch his state team from Mumbai to Goa for the upcoming domestic cricket season. This development comes after Jaiswal recently bolstered Mumbai’s batting lineup in the Ranji Trophy semifinals against Vidarbha, following his exclusion from India’s Champions Trophy squad.

Jaiswal, who is part of the Rajasthan Royals team for IPL 2025, has been a key figure in Mumbai’s cricket setup. His decision to potentially leave Mumbai could be influenced by various factors, including opportunities for more playing time or personal reasons. The move would mark a significant change for Jaiswal, who has been associated with Mumbai cricket throughout his career.

The MCA Is expected to consider Jaiswal’s request, which could have implications for both Mumbai and Goa’s cricket teams. If approved, this switch would allow Jaiswal to represent Goa in domestic competitions starting next season, potentially altering the dynamics of both teams in the Ranji Trophy and other tournaments.
