After a standout performance, where he took 24 wickets at an impressive average of 17, including multiple five-wicket hauls, Chahal expressed his desire to showcase his skills on a larger stage.
Reflecting on his experience, he stated, “County cricket is tough… it gave me an opportunity to showcase my skills against a very good standard of cricket” as he prepares for the Ranji Trophy starting October 11. Chahal’s aim is to impress selectors ahead of India’s tour to England next year, where he hopes to secure a spot in the team.
