Zaheer Khan says, "Plethora of all-rounders gives Australia an advantage"

The five-time champions of the ODI World Cup are already being touted as front-runners to lift the Cricket World Cup 2023 next month, apart from the hosts, India. Before the World Cup 2023, former pacer of India Zaheer Khan highlighted where Australia has an outright advantage over other nations.
Australia named a strong 15-member squad for the showpiece event, which includes players like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Cameron Green, and Mitchell Marsh.
While speaking, Khan, who played an important role in India's 2011 World Cup-winning campaign, explained that depth in the all-rounder's department gives Australia an edge.
Zaheer said, “Australia have a great squad for the ODI World Cup. They have a long list of all-rounders, which will be an added advantage for the side. Glenn Maxwell is also set for a return to the sidelines. They have Cameron Green, Mitchell Marsh, and Marcus Stoinis. Cameron Green is one of their attacking top-order batters who does not let you settle in as a bowler. Sean Abbot is a great player as well and should further strengthen the squad.
He further said, “In India, we talk about Hardik Pandya being a huge plus for the side, and Australia have 2-3 of those, and that's why they will have the added advantage in the ODI World Cup."
